Technifab signs 5 year contract with Boeing

AVON, Ohio, February 29, 2008 – Technifab Inc., A Forest City Technologies Company, today announced the award of a 5-year contract from The Boeing Company for a fabricated, gasket application for the 737 aircraft made of PVDF foam supplied by Zotefoams of Croydon, England .

Technifab is the designated aerospace licensee of Zotefoams that converts the basic PVDF foam into various part configurations, including insulation tubes, gaskets, seals and other specialty aerospace components.The Zotefoams PVDF foam is an exceptionally light, flame retardant material that carries a Boeing material specification.Technifab is an approved AS9100 certified Boeing supplier.
